Mental and behavioral health

Mental and behavioral health is often overlooked as a factor in physical health. Many people immediately blame "food" for the illnesses they suffer from, but the strength of the mind plays a dominant role in a person's health. A physically healthy person can suddenly feel weak or faint upon hearing very sad news, while someone who is physically weak can suddenly become strong when a loved one urgently needs help. However, in today's world, many fragile minds are given "injections of heart vitamins" and ironically, the strength of the mind depends on material possessions. Many measure happiness as equal to the amount of material they have, and become very sad when that material is lost or goes away. Let's carefully examine the relationship between fragile minds and the following patterns of thought and behavior.

Mental and behavioral health

FIRST, anxiety is the source of many physical and mental illnesses. Anxiety is the hope for a result in an uncertain condition combined with the fear of failure. The higher the anxiety, the greater the distance between the dream and the fact. The more distance, the more anxiety there is. This is why the stomach is the first to be attacked, as a result of the excess production of acid caused by anxiety.

SECOND, excessively high targets that exceed the maximum efforts made will trigger the onset of cholesterol and uric acid diseases. That is why these diseases often appear when the workload exceeds our ability. For example, when completing a monthly or annual report, or other work. Meanwhile, high-fat foods will make the joints/muscles stiff.

THIRD, tension in the work rhythm with a very busy schedule and mental exhaustion can make the blood flow become more tense (read: high blood pressure). If the blood flow is not smooth, the tension will have an even worse impact.

FOURTH, we can be fierce and strict in enforcing rules. But the feeling that is carried inside of not feeling satisfied when others have not yet followed the rules, should be avoided. The must (must) attribute should only be on the face, but should not be carried into anger and hatred. This can increase stress and raise blood sugar. Inflexibility or difficulty in accepting advice and opinions from others can also be a boomerang on damaging one's own body organs.

What is the healthy solution?

  1. Make a face that is often cheerful, happy, and smiling
  2. Make the body often move, but not excessively, the important thing is that sweat comes out regularly
  3. Walk slowly in the morning while sunbathing, listening to music, or thinking about something positive
  4. Make time to relax and do something enjoyable, even if it's just for a short time
  5. Express gratitude and appreciation for what we have
  6. Avoid negative thoughts and replace them with positive ones
  7. Learn to forgive and let go of resentment
  8. Get enough sleep
  9. Eat a balanced and varied diet
  10. Exercise regularly
